I convinced myself to go to the gym. It was awful. Some guy started trying to chat me up on the treadmill, and I could not have been more sweaty. I was like 'erm this is a gym, not a club. Now watch the tv like everyone else'. I didn't actually say that, I just did the casual awkward closed mouth tight smile, nodded a bit and then ignored him.
Referring to an earlier post, the gym is also great on the endorphin front, although I don't feel better right now. Maybe it's because I had to run home to avoid the rain.
God weather is boring BUT I do have a funny story. So, where I am (England) there is meant to be an awful storm, the worst we have seen in 20 years at the weekend. My American friend IMs me, he lives in the same city and is on my course. He was like 'so will I need to stock up and expect power cuts?' I laughed all over my computer. Unfortunately in this country, nothing as cool as a real storm ever happens. The most that will happen is rain, lots of rain. But that's it!
I won on a scratch card and bought a pumpkin. Hollowing them out is good for sexual tension.

Stupid People
It sucks that really stupid people exist in the world. And I don't mean people who didn't get their grades at school, I mean people who are unable to look around them and interact with the social surroundings they find themselves in. I work with someone who I only really have a conversation with when he is complaining about his wife. I have never met the woman so I couldn't comment, but you know, I do comment, a lot, because otherwise I would never even talk to this person!
Ugh, people suck. In fact, I probably suck too. I bet I have done the same think, gearing the conversation to meet my own needs. We are innately selfish. Is there anything we could do about it? Maybe...

How to make up with your boyfriend
How to make up with your Boyfriend
SEX. SEX. SEX. and more SEX. All of those crazy little endorphins will actually make you like him a whole to more, and I mean actually like him. Sure you love him, I think I love mine too, but liking him is much more difficult.
Life is full of those little lines and comments which build up in our minds (by our, I do mean women). If you say you don't like that dress I spent £60, trust me, I will never, ever wear it again. We pretend it doesn't, but yes your opinion does mean that much to us, or at least that much in the back of our minds. Not to mention the way you act around our friends, if you're not going to be enthusiastic, at least be polite! The list could go on and on: the clothes you wear, the way you act around my parents, the way your parents act around me, the way you make my tea, the way you never make enough food for me, the way I always cook, the way I always wash up...................... Ugh!
(I do apologize for speaking for all women, we, obviously are not all the same.)
So after that awkward week where you're just not connecting, I would readily prescribe sex. And I'm not talking about 'making love,' (although that can be reserved for the second session of the day.) I am referring to some real sex, where all it is about is feeling incredible. And what's wrong with that? Yes a relationship is all about being able to give and take, but sometimes, you just have to take, take, take.

Trying to write/ de-procrastination
Trying to Write/ De-Procrastination
God this is one of the worst forms of procrastination. Someone help me! (I want to shout, but of course, I don't because it would disturb my neighbors, who I haven't really met).
So what should I write about? I have ideas, the unexpected one where an older woman is inappropriate with an inexperienced teen, the one(s) about my mother. Or even the prize winning epic, although I absolutely no ideas for it. Basically, I have writer's block, which is highly inefficient when I should be sat at my desk writing for four hours each and every day.
I have tried everything, I have done some exercise, drank tea, eaten. But, alas, it's all completely useless. Maybe I should eat some more... or just bash out a poem, but it all seems too easy!
I did manage to look up some info about Plath for a presentation tomorrow. I don't want to be a cliche just because I'll talk about her.
I was told that The Bell Jar actually causes suicide attempts among young women. I dare say this isn't surprising, it's possibly one of the most fantastic depressing things I have ever read! The last time was at Boardmasters and I had to convince myself to snap out of it before I went completely insane. Why? I guess it's when she talks about the worries she has over men controlling her future. It is the twenty-first century, but let's face it, the men are in control. I don't think we let them, it's just how it happens. I hate that innate instinct which makes us want to spawn. I shall ignore it!
So this is my Sunday, full of pointless nothingness. And absolutely no writing whatsoever.
